If you can help...

MOCA: Museum of Computer Art was founded in 1993 as a museum website and has operated continuosly ever since under the directorship of its co-founder, Don Archer. Its mission was and is the promotion of digital art. No charge is made to the submitting artist nor to the viewing public. In July, 2005, it was chartered as a nonprofit educational corporation by the Board of Regents of the State of New York. It enjoys 501 (c) (3) tax exempt status granted by the U. S. Internal Revenue Service, and donations are tax deductible under relevant IRS regulations.

Both MOCA and computer art have grown spectacularly since 1993. It has been suggested that art generated on the computer is perhaps the most dominant form of art of our era. There are thousands of digital artists and thousands of digital art sites on the Web. MOCA prides itself not only in participating in that growth but also in being an engine of growth for that art. It has also seen the maturing of that art into a fine art, as we hope exhibits on our pages will confirm.

We are the most authoritative and comprehensive digital art museum on the Web. Our curating has been so careful and insightful that inclusion in our exhibits lends extraordinary prestige to the submitting artists.

Contributions to MOCA are vital to our success and growth.
